The magazine has the same dark parkerized finish as the barrel. The barrel is stamped "HS" (High Standard) on the right side of the lug and has a "P" proof mark on the left side and has a dark parkerized finish. stocks and appear to be "Colt wood" stocks. The stocks lack the five-pointed star found on Keyes Fibre Co. The stocks have large reinforcing rings and interior strengthening ribs. Everyone seems to think the barrel is a WW-1 Colt 1918 barrel. There are no military nomenclature, property, proof or inspection marks on the slide or frame. It looks like it may have the original park finish on it and might be all correct except for the barrel. The left side of the slide is roll-stamped with the first type legend: "REMINGTON RAND INC./SYRACUSE, N.Y. "G" is stamped on the top of the frame to the right of the disconnector hole.

The right side of the frame is hand-stamped with serial number "132" behind the slide-stop hole.
